I have seen the film three times and at last read the book, finished it in two days and pleased I did it, as always it is, better than the film, a very satisfying experience. I have recommended the reading to my brother and sons, being cuban born it is a colorful description of the politic climate in the late 30th not only there and here in US but also in Europe at the verge of war, but especially about honor and kindness that moves me so deeply
