Crash the Chatterbox written by my Pastor Steven Furtick is an excellent dialogue between what we think and what God says about us. Crashing old mindsets, unlearning childhood clichés and breaking generational curses that we and our children do have to glory through. We give too much credit to the Enemy and engage in conversation instead of seeking God and declaring what He says.

In this book Steven takes the lies of the enemy that we face everyday, that drown out our hope, and prevent us from seeing the truth about God and he puts a name to it, the “Chatterbox”. This book helps identify the lies and tricks we fall for over and over, and shows us how to practically overcome it with the truth of God’s words, and what He’s said about us. I highly recommend this book no matter what stage you are in with your walk with God, because no matter what stage it is the “Chatterbox” is always chattering away with it’s lies.

Our church did a sermon series on this book by Steve Furtick. I was interested in learning more about this topic so I purchased the book. I loved the insight and the wisdom the he had to share. Negative thinking and ridiculing ourselves as Christians is a struggle we all deal with at one time or another. I love the author's humility in sharing his own life experiences in a funny but insightful way. Must read!

I picked up this book after a friend referenced one of the stories in this book; how Furtick revealed his feelings of inadequacy and anxiety even as a pastor of an influential, large and healthy church. His vulnerability and applicability inspires me and I find myself repeating and thinking about these concepts daily even weeks after reading. So good! God bless you Steven!

This is the first series of sermons from Pastor Steven that I ever listened to and he changed mine, my Husband's and MIL'd life! I read the book after and it was so key for me and he just speaks so honest and he's so relatable!
