I finished this book even though I didn’t love it. It was ok, not great, like “Little Fires.”

Really good if you like family oriented books. Thought it would be more murder-mystery like. Took me a while to get through because it’s not my usual thing haha.

This book I got from my neighbor and it was amazing I could not put it down! Such a amazing plot and great storyline!

It had good character development but the plot line was a little bland. It was highly recommended by one my favorite authors who ended up making a tv show into it. As well as on goods reads but I didn’t live up to expectations for me. Ever go up a really steep hill then it’s flat for a little then you drive slowly to avoid going too fast? That is how this books plot felt.

Poignant and captivating; beautifully written.

The Lee’s world was completely engrossing. Beautiful written and I think a great depiction of the feelings of those who lose someone they love unexpectedly in a way they cannot understand or explain.
