Jesse consistently captures the essence of his subjects through his entire career. The intensity of the sport and its people is on every page. I am privileged to own some of Mr. Alexander's early prints and some of his earlier books.

As a photographer and a fan of motorsport, this book appeals to me on so many levels. Taken when I was less than two years old, the images in this book show a period which I have only experienced in retrospect. The audio captions deepen the experience of the extraordinary photographs. I especially enjoy the images of the drivers in their cars, unsure of what's to come and fully aware that they might not live to see the finish.

Beautifully done! I was amazed at the artistry of both the photography by Jesse and in the composition of the book by Oliver. The narratives brought it to life!

I have been a fan of his photographs for many years. Happy to have it in digital form.
