Too slow. Characters don’t have a lot of chemistry. Something was missing. I did finish the book tho

This is a great book. The characters are well developed and the mystery of the story really holds your attention. The ending came as a surprise to me. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book.

Nice combination of detective story and romance. Characters are interesting as they struggle to deal with their individual histories. The compromises necessary in building loving relationships test their fierce independence.!

I love that the author is an accidental author, having tried writing based on having something to talk with her son about and getting hooked on the process! I enjoyed her situation and characters in this novel. If you like mysteries so might you.

The plot was see through from the beginning. Sarah’s character is overly dramatic & fragile. The author didn’t take much time to develop the relationship. I read the whole thing, but found it a bit cheesy.
