There’s been another murder in Heywood and though Gina doesn’t know the victim she gets dragged into the investigation when one of her clients refuses to speak to anyone but her. What seems at once cut and dry turns out to be a bit more complicated or is it? So many suspects, so many motives how will Gina get to the bottom of this one? Great story and I loved the complex simplicity of it. Really loved that we got some Annabelle shenanigans too!! The little subplot with Daisy and the two new rescues was wacky fun. Another fun story in the series by Carly Winters. Gina and her talking dog, Daisy, are once again getting involved in investigating a murder. When Erika is accused of murdering one of the owners at her job, Gina can’t stop herself from getting involved. Sometimes Gina wonders if she’s crazy thinking she can hear her dog talking. So many suspects so little evidence to go on. *I received this book as an ARC reader and am leaving my unbiased review.
