Not too many authors can write a novella. Most rush to and from the main plot and it reads rushed. Not so with Grace, Grace is perfection in all of her books. Most of them I reread again and again. She always nailing the laughter, the romance, and the sex. Just five stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ every time.

Grace Halloway created such a good bridge between books! Halloway hinted to a love story in Fiona and the Enigmatic Earl and my is it so juicy! I knew there may be “something” between Hawker and Mrs. Peabody in Halloway´s last several books and sure enough here it is! Oh my such a change in events! After reading this book I can’t wait for Glory and the Master of Shadows.

I’m not typically a fan of the secret identity trope, but Grace Callaway knocked it out of the park in this one! The love and tenderness between the two lovers is palpable, and the steam is hot enough to melt the pages. I can’t recommend this novella enough!

From the beginning Hawker’s story is very interesting. And the obvious attraction towards Mrs. Peabody ooh it’s clear. And Mrs. Peabody character is intriguing, strong an independent. Love the storyline, the description of each character. It’s passionate but again it’s Grace Callaway. What I don’t understand is that if he is the son of a Duke, why does he have a coarse pronunciation? But I still liked it and definitely recommend.
