Having read the Blood Ties series, I enjoyed this short story and the background for two important characters in the series was enjoyable.

the premise had potential, but the female lead was fairly useless.

What a great story. I loved it and Vampire in denial. What an original idea for a vampire book. And what a great bunch of characters. Thank you for writing this.

Unlike the other books I've read Dale Mayer I couldn't get the drift of the short story. At first I thought I understood where it was going, I was really enjoying the ride . The further I read the behinder I got. I would not recommend this short story to anybody.
