What a cute and sweet short story! I’m always on the lookout for something to read at lunch—this story hit the spot. The writing is fun with lovely descriptions. I adore the characters and the way Holly and Dave interact. And the small town Montana setting is perfect—I felt like I was right there in the mountains with them...what a fun escape during my workday. I’m excited this is the first of series of short stories and can't wait to dive into the one!

C'mon. I had to PAY for 36 pages? Ridiculous. Plus the editing on the author's books are AWFUL - or not edited at all.

Susan Hatler is such a tease!!! But, in a good way. An Unexpected Date is another....I wish it didn't end story. Each of these offerings by the author is like getting to the bottom of your favorite pint of ice cream, you enjoyed it immensely buy are saddened that it can't last just a little longer.
