I don't own an iPAD and have no intension of ever owning one. Can't you guys manage to make a picture book show up on Windows laptops and other tablets, even if may be so much better on an iPAD. Doesn't seem like a technical problem, is sounds like a business aliance issue.

This is new material from someone as close to Zeppelin as one might be (without being crew, management, etc.) Isn't the opportunity to get more Zepp more important than the medium itself? Whiners. Thanks for the release, thanks for giving us more info, visuals, and history of the greatest Rock and Roll Band yet.

This "book" is awesome. I tried to read reviews for it this morning and found alot of things said about Apple instead of the actual book. I bought this for MY IPAD. To all the Apple haters out there, go get yourself one and stop complaining! If you read the description, you'd see that it says it's for iPad only.

I have viewed this book using my friends iPad its stunning I understand not making it for iPhone 5 ( the screen is too small to really do the pictures justice)my question is I have a MacBook Pro with retina display which honestly wipes the floor with the New iPad why can't a version of iBooks be developed for the Macbook it easily has the capability and having the touch display isn't needed I can click next to turn pages and not be hasseled and really I don't need a lot of portability for a picture book and if I did it would work on both versions anyway this isn't a "post PC' world for everybody my MacBook is with me all day long I do everything with it…not asking for something that couldn't be done given the power of the new MacBooks …. anyway enough venting if you have an ipad this book is amazing all the interactive content is wonderful and the pictures alone worth the $9.99 !!!

Bravo Neal. So glad to see this. Some fans don't realize what goes into something like this, and which platforms provide the best results. If you don't have an iPad, this is sufficient reason to go get one! The retina screen is awesome. My iPhone APP-- LED ZEPPELIN-LIVE DREAMS-- (the App version of the coffee-table book) was the first thing like this, with a lot of interactive features, and it actually looks and works even better on the iPad. Pictures are larger, too. (Only available for purchase on the iPhone App Store). But now, the iBook format allows more interactive features, similar to an App, so I can't wait to see SOUND and FURY. Neal had better access than anybody, and his skills are well-documented. And, yes, he's one of the good guys. I enjoyed shooting some shows mere inches from him, and even have a few shots of the exact same moment that are virtually indistinguishable. Fun stuff. If you have an iPad...just get one-now! If you don't have an iPad.. Then get one today, and then get Neal's Sound and Fury. If you consider yourself a true Zep fan---then- no excuses. Hours of great Zeppelin enjoyment. The author is the one that decided on the medium. Not Apple's fault. Really looking forward to the iBook. Seems like a great use of the medium.

Why is everyone so bent out of shape it's only available upon release on an iPad? iBooks is the only format I know which can support this kind of interactivity. Don't think KDP can? It's an interactive ebook! Hello! Not on TV. I look forward to seeing it on my iPad.
