    Great book. Must read!
  • The key to a changed reality

I first read Think and Grow Rich when I was 20 years old, in my 400 square foot college apartment, full of fear and uncertainty about the future. I remember feeling as if the hidden secret for which I needed to be ready to receive that Hill talks about I understood without naming - that burning desire coupled by belief coupled by plan and action could change my entire reality. A simple formulae that has a miraculous power supporting it. 10 years later and plenty of practice / many reads and re-reads of this book- I now own a 4000 square foot house and earn well-over the income I thought was “really high” at the times of outlining my plans in those early years. All to say this stuff works- read it, use it and be changed forever.

The first time reading this book, I missed the whole purpose of its intent. And ended up wasting years, doing the wrong things. I.e. Focusing on the negatives in my life, allowing my fears to run rampant, not learning from my mistakes. As embarrassing as it is to admit it, that was my life. Now I've implemented a vast portion of the concepts in this book into my life. Too soon to boast of my successes, it's a work in progress right now!

I just read this book for the third time, first in 1968, second in 1982, and today in 2015. This is the first time that it made sense to me. Napolean Hill is a really advanced thinker and confident observer. Your mind must be very open in order to receive his wisdom.
