Wow he's still got it with this book, I was instantly drawn back into the current events of the story even though its been 6 years since I read the high Druid trilogy. Great addition to the series.

I've been reading this series since I was a kid, and this book is a profound disappointment. This is a laborious and horrendous read. Don't bother.

What happened to authors who wrote books to tell a story, not to sell book two of a Trilogy. This book was too short and left EVERYTHING unresolved. This book just bare.y sets the groundrules of the plot line and then stops. For the price it is a great dissappointment. Kona Auntie

Terry has done it again! A new story with pieces blended from the old - awesome! His artful displaying of how they coalesce together is skillful beyond belief. Can't wait for the rest of the series to be released!

He's retelling a story familiar to those of us that have been hooked on his every word since "The Sword...". New characters, familiar quests, everything old is new again. I'm looking forward to the spring and reading his next installment.

Normally I would love to buy a Terry Brooks book but if half the book is a sample and the full book isn't the full story I agree $15 is to much. Sadly this is one I will have to pass on.
