I really like this book. You definitely will want to read the first book before reading this one. I will say I like Anne of Green Gables a tiny bit more than Anne of Avonlea, but it is still really good. I really like how there are so many new characters introduced throughout the book. There are probably about as many new characters as there are old characters. It will still help to read Anne of Green Gables first.

What more can one say.

A timeless classic!!! Takes of a girl’s transition into womanhood. Utterly captivating... This book is full of imagination and is a very morally educational read. I greatly recommend it to all those who need a dose of imagination and wholesome literature.

I loved this book so much!! I have always loved Anne of Green Gables and I didn't know there were more. I just love these books! It is a must read for anyone. 👍👍👍

This book is utterly magnificent. I could and would read this book over and over again without getting tired of it. I like the book's publishing time being long ago and giving it that rustic feel to it. Most importantly I love the characters and their personalities. I even love the worst in the characters. They are human, or at least fictional ones, and they make mistakes like any other. They have religion making it unlike a lot of the stories I have read. Only religious books I read are usually ones of that purpose. So overall this book was fantastic.

I haven't really read the book but my teacher said it's going to be my next book after I finish the Battle of the Labyrinth I'll review it later but it seams really good.

I like Anne of Avonlea but the first book was much better with my action. Anne is much changed... But for IBooks, I think the pages are too sensitive but overall I can't complain I like this one a lot but I'd say its not worth reading based on the lack of content... Overall nicely written DON'T CHANGE ANNE (WITH AN "E") MONGOMERY!;)
