This book just dragged you. There were no paintings of St. Monica and it just told about St. Augustine, her son. So again, not an informative book. Thankfully, LouisetheBOOKCRITC

Love is said to be an act of the will. St. Monica models love for God, spouse and family with true act of selfless love.

The story of St. Monica and her son Augustine will give hope to every parent of a prodigal. As I read the last chapter, I could not hold back the tears! What an inspiration!

This was very inspiring as i am blessed to be a mother of a seminarian. The love she shared with St. Augustine is one every mother should pray for so we too may share in Gods glory. Our children are gifts from God and we must not lose sight of Gods will for our children.

So beautiful and so inspiring!!!!! A truly delighful reading.

Lovely story, I am better off for having read it.
