EXCELLENT READ!!

Excellent....could not put it down... had to forgo cleaning my apt to read this cover to cover

Ran out of Coben, Connelly, Child and Grisham - took a chance, though not much of one, thanks to iBooks "sample" - I'm hooked

Not as good as his others. Dismas is a much better protagonist.

Great story, unexpected events, full characters you can picture as the story evolves. John's knowledge of San Francisco brings great memories of places I've visited and adds to the background of this mystery novel. His wry sense of humor is evident in his main characters and adds even more depth to the story. You won't be disappointed in this book -in fact I have never been disappointed in any of John Lescroart's books - I've loved them all.

Good book but needs better proofreading! Sometimes very distracting for an anal-retentive person!

A really good roller coaster ride. This is the first book I've ready by this author, and I look forward to reading more of his work. good twists and turns you may not see coming. GP
