I love this book. It opened another side of the main character’s personality. I love that there bring other were animals into the story. I look forward to reading another book of hers.

A real page turner!

This is the best book series out there! I need to get the latest one :(

I have read every single 'Anita Blake' book, love every character (Richard is my dream man) cam hardly wait for the next book in the series to come out but this one?? This one was what?? I mean really? What was this one about? What was the purpose of this book? Im not saying I won't read any more 'AB' books and I actually look forward to the next one but I'm just lost about this one! Even the sex was a little too much in this one. I mean...wow...at a loss for words for this... :/

I love this series. By far the best

I remain happy with this series of books and I'm delighted in the turns and twists each book takes. More than several of the earlier books, this one has a quality of a coming of age story - one which I really enjoyed. Thanks for another great read!!!

Not bad, not great. Hamilton's series has suffered over time, going from a great series with mucho action to more of a series of not-too-badly-written vampire/werewolf romance novels. This novel, like several other recent ones, just seems to go on for a while, then end. It was actually somewhat better than the last few, until, like several others have mentioned, it just ended. No great protagonist, no climactic battles, it seems maybe she just ran out of steam. I'll still be reading the series, but more out of hope than out of true interest. Hopefully the meredith gentry series picks up a little more.
