Glad I came across this book. I couldn’t put it down. I can’t wait for the new adventures in the next one.

The story and the narration got me hooked.

I think the plot is very fun. The way it’s written is a little interesting in a very “young adult” kind of way! I do love how the author references to all the other fantasy stories that seem to have influenced their story line. It’s a fun story and I’m interested to see where it goes.

I did not like Brea much. I found myself sympathetic to her through the whole book, but until the big reveal at the end of the book I did not like her much. I am very intrigued by Alona and I can’t wait to read more from her point of view. I like how the series is shaping and I can’t wait for more! I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review.

I love reading books about the Fae and these were amazing! Quick read but I loved 1-6 starting 7-9 soon!

Just enough romance to not be too “much” and just enough battle to not be overpowered with it. All parts of happy, sad, romance, war, and magic very evenly written.
