I love the Misadventures series and this was a wonderful addition to that series! Would highly recommend reading Misadventures of a Time Traveler first as there is character continuation in this story from the first. If you are looking for a fun and quick read this is a perfect option for you! Be prepared to be transported to a different time and with a Duke no less that is hot hot hot!!!

This is a great easy read of time travel in to the future. Bastien’s love was murdered by her brother. He travels 200+ years into the future and comes out of a wardrobe in NY and sees Reagan. How can she look just like his past love. Are they getting a second chance?

Oh how I have missed Misadventure stories and Duke was a fantastic story after the little gap of releases. Angel Payne is an incredible story teller as she puts together a mix of wonderful characters, comical and sexual encounters. You will definitely want to read misadventures with a Time Traveler before reading Duke though. Love how the 2 stories tie in and absolutely love how Reagan and Bastien’s worlds collide. They were clearly meant to find each other as their chemistry was apparent from the beginning.

What an absolute EPIC follow up of Misadventures with a Time Traveler! You do NOT need to read Time Traveler first but ya know why not? Honestly if it has Angel and Payne I’m going to purchase and I know it’s going to be good. Bastian’s story does not disappoint. It’s a perfect culmination of past and present colliding and bringing a beautiful story that only Angel Payne can convey. It’s a must read!
