The characters are what drew me to keep going with the series. At times the repetitive manner of writing used as filler got to me. I would skip some pages now and again, but I liked the characters enough to want to know more.

Silas and Madison are still working separately on the case. Madison found out things about her brother so in order to protect him she is planting evidence. Silas has also found out information regarding Aiden and wants him to finally come in to give his statement. A lot of questions get answered in this final installment.
