This book was absolutely great! Phenomenal, alive characters.

She is brilliant the author of this any piece of writing that has to do with history is amazing by her. I couldn’t put it down!

I finished the book because I wanted to know how it ended. But, unlike the other books I’ve read by this author, it didn’t hold my attention very well. I found many of her descriptions to be verbose, and some were repetitive. I’m glad I read it, but I cannot recommend it.

An engrossing historical novel that brings to life a WWII hero that I had never heard of before. Fascinating.

Incredible book! Characters leapt from the pages and transferred full blown into my conscious mind. Love that it is based on a historic woman of unique capabilities.

I’ve enjoyed other Kate Quinn books, but this one is so boring. It didn’t hold my attention. Basically, every chapter is the same song, new verse. I quit reading it before getting 50% of the way through it. So disappointing.

This was by far the best , most enthralling, book I have read this year. The fact that most all of it is true makes it even better. For Americans to read this book is even more important, especially with the war raging in Ukraine. To understand the present we must learn about the past.
