The novel itself is so well written with profound ideas that go way beyond the usual prejudices in regards to skin color - as there are such a vast number of prejudices that every person in all walks of life must endure - some more than others. This book delves into much deeper issues including showing how many of us may be dealing with our own vanishing half. A great summary of the story.
