I got tired of the female main character saying “oh mylanta” or “nuts and berries” like anyone actually says this on a regular basis and is considered funny.

First time reading this author. A sweet love story. Too old to enjoy reading about a quick meet and jumping into bed together and language used. But that seems to be the trend and obviously sells. But all in all a good story. I did wonder about Amber the X and what her reaction was or will be when she finds out about Delilah’s move in. But it seemed to have a HEA.

Mason is a vet who is also a single dad that Delilah meets when the dog she’s sitting gets into mischief and needs to be taken to the vet. The storyline has plenty of moments to keep me entertained.
