I loved this book! I laughed, I cried and rooted for the Aspen and Brain. It brought back memories of my time in the service some difficult ones and lots of great ones. I’d like to say the Army and other branches aren’t like these misogynistic guys but even today the prejudice is rampant. Thank you for writing this book and bringing these issues to light. R. K. I forgot how bad this author can be. Both of the lead characters give each other over the top speeches (yes, speeches). Again. And again. Yes, each character has a specific amount of “quirks” to try and distinguish them from the author’s other nearly indistinguishable characters. But you can interchange them regardless. If any of these male “heros” were to give me one of their speeches when dating I would run for the hills and any sane person would as well.

Good background of military and para-military challenges and dilemmas. Great love story and suspense set against a natural disaster! Finished it on a rainy day

Excellent reading. Women in a man’s world was covered so well, bravo Aspen! And the relationship between Kane and Aspen was very good. I am enjoying this Delta series.

I absolutely Love this Author! I have read a lot of her books and I’m never disappointed. This may be my favorite, Kane is every woman’s dream and Aspen is a very strong woman. They are perfect for each other.

This was a brilliant, engaging, page turner. Right from the first scene I was engaged. Kane “Brain” Temple is super sexy, protective and REALLY smart which makes him self conscious. Aspen is a strong, independent and know what she wants. I LOVED this story!! It kept me on my toes on the edge of my seat just the way you want a romantic suspense to be. HIGHLY recommended for romantic suspense fans!!

Brain finds his one, Aspen. Or rather, she finds him when she offers him $20 to kiss her so her ex gets the hint. And so it begins. Aspen is an army medic with the Rangers. She’s a determined woman who holds her own with her Rangers. Unfortunately she’s experiencing some major harassment from a guy she’d only dated twice but who’s in a position of power over her. She learns a lot about what a true team should be from Brain and his team and Brain learns a lot from her as well.
