Professor Dershowitz has written a GREAT BUT SAD book-my points may not be relevant to all 1-reference to English law-when one files a lawsuit and does NOT win-he PAYS the defendants fee-ALL OF THEM-many too many file frivilous action and walk away 2-Perjury must be actionable in a civil case 3-my opinion-these alleged actions would have been ignored had he remained a Hillary loving democrat -instead his legal training forced him to defend President Trump on occasion-from that point on he was TARGETED similar to many of Trumps staff-several with military early morning attacks with no cause WIN PROFESSOR WIN!!! BEST OF LUCK

During the time of #MeToo & as a survivor of being gang raped this book is needed. Even I as a survivor realize that every person deserves the benefit of the doubt. Even my rapist deserved the opportunity to defend themselves, not cause of any other reason then it’s the right thing to do. One innocent man or woman being judged by society or jailed is one to many. Sadly just cause someone says something happened doesn’t make it fact. My rapist deserved every chance to prove their case, just like I deserved the opportunity to prove mine. I had to prove everything that I said was fact, I was able to & therefore their freedoms was taken away. But to convict merely by words, no evidence not only can hurt many innocent individuals but it also empowers those that wish others harm. Let’s say a woman or man wanted a position or money, if we don’t get away from this “guilty by accusation” mentality then the individual could threaten to make an allegation with no evidence to destroy ones life to get their way. It’s in a way socially legalizing intimidation & bribery. Shouldn’t a person have to prove their case beyond reasonable doubt before you destroy ones life? We live in a nation where it’s supposed to be innocent until PROVEN guilty, we need to remember that. So this book is very important to read cause it shows that it can happen to you, we need to remember why we have always believed in our values & get back to it.
