one of my favorite biographies. so sweet and real.

The real ness and transparency throughout this book was so refreshing. Thank you Jesus for leading Laurin to write this book and preparing her. Spreading your testimony to others brings freedom more than we realize.

This book! I read in two days. I laughed, cried, and just could not put it down. Beautifully written and so relatable to my childhood and other life happenings. I’m inspired by Lauren Akins.

I love both TR and Lauren (and their kiddos, so cute!) so this book was instantly a hit with me. Even if you don’t follow the family, it’s still a great read. Hope you check it out!!!

I was very disappointed while reading this book. She paints a seemingly perfect childhood where she didn’t face a hard day in her life. I found it completely unrelatable and surface level, not to mention is written like a middle school conversation. I would suggest to save your money and purchase a different book!

Amazing!

I had heard their story and was intrigued. I really wanted to love this book. But I found myself flipping through the pages because I just couldn’t get into it. I found the writing from their point of views to make it a choppy read. Perhaps I would have liked it if it were just written from one of their perspectives? Idk. They are basically sharing what they learned in therapy.

Absolutely loved this book

The most honest, real faith book I’ve ever read. I loved reading such a raw depiction of life as newlyweds and parents, as well as life as a Christian. “Love One” will forever stick with me
