Great read! Written very well...

I am a sucker for anything vamp related. I swear I’m not trying to be punny. I will seriously read anything with a vampire in it. Sometimes they are really good, and sometimes they’re a total fail. This book really hit the mark. I was drawn in, I loved the characters, and the world rocked mine. The problem is that I feel like it was only half the story. I notice that the next story features new leads, but that the back plot may continue, but I want more Juliet and Kane!!! Despite all of that, this story was still good. I plan on reading the rest of the series, so here’s hoping it blows me away. I do recommend this novella, for now, and I look forward to reading more.

This feels more like an outline in paragraph form of a story than an actual story. Everything happens too quickly without much “realism” to the characters. Could be so much better with deeper character development and details. A little more creative effort and it’d be an interesting take on a vampire tale.
