Great book!

Funny while posing the truth of addiction.

Lisa gives us a view into the life of an addict, and she invites us into her circle of friends. As a former New Yorker, a woman in a high stress career, and a former hard parting type, Lisa’s story is familiar. There are nuggets of wisdom here that will benefit anyone who is trying to live a healthy life.

I couldn’t put this book down. I instantly related to her, also having a professional job and reputation to hold down while struggling with self destruction and addiction. I highly recommend reading this whether you are an addict or not. I will always recommend this book.

I read a lot of recovery stories, and this is one of my favorites. Really glad I found it.
