I really enjoyed this book with a storyline that twists and turns. The characters are vibrant and alive. Maggie loved Crash since she was a little girl but due to a tragedy later on they are separated. She returns several years later with some surprises. This is the first time I’ve read this authors work, but I will definitely be watching for more. Good read! I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Loved this story. Where to start with this review.. I guess I will start on my thoughts about Cash. My heart broke for Cash. Here he was a man that not only lost the girl he loved but his best friends as well. This caused him to have to go through so much. I admired him as well. After hearing his story and seeing where he came from it really makes me think more of him. He was truly an amazing man. Maggie was something but she was also one with a lot of secrets as well. She has a few surprises and is in some serious trouble. She is lucky she has a sexy Knight that is willing to come to her rescue. I so enjoying reading Cash and Maggie’s story and loved how everything came together. Truly a great read.

Kelly Gendron has away of hooking her readers. We devour her books and scream for more, MORE, MORE. Crash is the MORE I have been waiting for since the first book. The glimpses of Crash in past books exploded from the pages and I couldn't help but fall in love. I get him. I understand him. He has sacrificed so much and deserves any happiness he can get. The question is will Maggie be the gateway to his happiness or will she cause him to crash and burn. I kept thinking this was a second chance romance, but did they really give love a chance in the first place? I thought of it as a forbidden romance. After all Maggie was not only his best friend's little sister, but his little sister's best friend. It was definitely and enemies to lovers story. The animosity dripped off the pages. There were so many secrets, so many lies. I turned every page fearing the end would come, their lives would crash, and their world of possibilities would end. Three years is a long time to disappear. Three years is a long time for secrets to fester. Three years is a long time to blame oneself for something that was not your burden to carry. And what I discovered had me screaming. Now I find myself blaming others. Disappointed in those that should have stood by Crash. Instead they let him accept responsibility when it was not his to bare. They let him crash. They let him hit the wall and loose everything for three long years. Happy release day. I was so thrilled when this popped up on my Kindle last night at 9. I couldn't wait to drive back into it.

Crash received an unexpected visit from Maggie, wanting a divorce! Things spiral from there. Both are still in love with each other. I liked Crash and even Maggie, they have endearing qualities. It was a cute story.

Crash by Kelly Gendron is the third book in the Daring the Kane Brothers series and the first book I have read from both the author and in the series. Though I enjoyed this book, I did at times feels like a lot happened prior to this book. After a few chapters I felt a bit more caught up to what is happening. Maggie Mae and Crash Kane were “married” years ago, but Crash thought it was not real. So, after Maggie’s brother and Crash’s best friend died, he let her go. Now she is back and demanding a divorce. Though they both know they should stay far away from each other, their attraction is unquestionable. But with so many secrets, lies and obstacles between them, can they ever truly move forward? Crash by Kelly Gendron was angsty, emotional, and had a bit of suspense. Though at times I was a bit lost, the story and characters were interesting and the chemistry between Maggie and Crash steamy. 3.5 stars. Happy reading.
