The Phantom Menace was the movie I found boring when I was little, and later fell in love with its philosophic subtlety and the dynamic between them. This was a beautiful, vivid, addition to their story. Plus the explanation of why Obi-wan hates flying made me laugh at loud, which has never happened for me with a novel.

It was a great read. The book really does give you insight in Qui Gon and Obi Wan’s relationship.

Great book. Without spoilers, it deepened the characters of Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan and their relationship and another character that we see in tv. The character development was nice. It was a bit predictable at times but that’s not necessarily a bad thing and it definitely wasn’t enough to make me give it anything less than 5 stars. Would recommend.

Wow amazing book it was so enthralling and I enticing that my family had a hard time pulling me out of this book. I got is on audible and it was amazing I would give it a read or Listen. The story, the characters, and lore was spot on. There where a couple slow part but there not long or boring slow parts. And she wrote the established characters expertly. And I can’t wait to see what happens to the new ones. 10 out of 10 amazing read!!!!!!!

I read Bloodlines, and absolutely loved it; not knowing who the author was. I later started reading Leia, also not knowing who the author was, and I loved it. Half-way through, my daughter informed me that they were both Claudia. I had no intention of reading this book, until I then became aware that this was also hers, so I jumped right in. The bulk of this book is equally as fantastic as her previous work. I usually find myself having trouble accepting new characters that never make it into movies or tv shows, but Claudia always seems to sell me on hers. My only gripe is the last few chapters. Without getting spoilery, the actual focus of the book ends in a very satisfying way, but there are a few chapters of wrapping the story up that just feel disconnected, and rushed. However, I do not feel like they take away from the story, because they just feel unrelated.
  • A fun story with Qui-Gon at the helm

I enjoyed reading about young obi’s adventures and more about the prophecies. It was a good book, not my favorite of the new cannon but a nice read. I thought there could have been a little more Saber wielding, this is the Republic era after all!

This was the most amazing book in the history of the world. Because my lord and savior Obi-Wan Kenobi was in it. Hail Sithis
