Most amazing book I’ve read in my life, at the end I wept for Mr. Russo.

Incredibly fascinating book of Gianni’s life and the reality of life associated with the mob, touching world shaking events and renowned figures. Highly Recommended!

Amusing and serious at the same time……Gianni has an ability of being a great story teller. The book tells the story of his life experiences from having a crippling disease to being inducted into the mafia as a young teenager to becoming a successful businessman and how his role in The Godfather movie gave him opportunities that may have saved his life on more than one occasion.

I really enjoyed this book, however, it’s hard to believe much of it is true. It seems as if he took scenes out of The Godfather and Casino movies and injected them into his ‘life’ and put the exact same scenarios in the book. I don’t believe much of what he wrote.

Great book,lifetime of history of how things really was,interesting & truly inviting to read.

Intriguing, if somewhat incredible, recounting of a lost era.
