An interesting storyline & characters. It was fun to follow along with the main character!

This book was suspenseful, and also funny. The way they mix fashion, and with murder was very clever. I enjoyed reading it very much.

Thoroughly enjoyed reading this book! Mulhern’s descriptions made you feel as though you were sharing in each fun-filled and thrill-filled day of Poppy’s life.

Very well written levity even in believably dangerous situations. A plot with a path that the reader ,if alert can figure out. I totally enjoyed the writing and will love reading more !

If you like a mystery, demand a strong heroine, enjoy humor...then this series is just what you want.

So excited about this new series! While it started a little slow (getting her feet under her, I suppose) by the third chapter I was completely sold on the heroine Poppy Fields! A modern young lady who is quite capable of taking care of herself, who, in spite of a splintered upbringing, has a good head on her shoulders. This "first book" leads us to an anticipation of many exciting adventures with Ms Poppy and her sidekick Consuela. Cannot wait for the next book 😊

Her list of characters include those that are quirky, some that are very endearing, many that are very treacherous and then there’s the very unforgettable heroine Poppy Fields. Poppy has led an interesting life. She’s had it all but she’s missed the opportunity to have the things that are the most important needs of everyone.
