As a huge Star Wars fan and a big clone wars fan this was a great read to find out what happened after Sidios took Maul. I would recommend this book to any Star Wars fan.

Fills in gapes from season 5 to 7 of the clone wars but it isn’t really brought up in season 7 so it’s not essential..the experience isn’t anything you can’t get from a YouTube summary

Unfortunately, after the Disney purchase of Lucasfilm, Star Wars: The Clone Wars was cancelled before many of the story arcs were finalized. Son of Dathomir is one of them, but thankfully it was adapted into this 4 issue miniseries. Pick this up if you’re itching to see more of TCW.
