I bought this and struggled on and off for over a month with download failures and crashing. Both Apple support and iTunes support walked me through troubleshooting several times over a period of weeks with some starts and stops with limited success, and basically concluded that this book is problematic. Also, the book badly needs an editor who has taken some English courses. The idea of having the videos, scoring examples, and code available digitally is pretty great. The video files themselves are somewhat low quality, but the actual content of the videos is really helpful. However, the execution of this idea was amateurish and seemingly incompletely tested before publishing. One of the worst parts of this not strictly crucial for this review is that this screwed up digital code is serving as a replacement for the hard copy! You can’t even order a hard copy from the website. It’s like some kind of cruel joke; I don’t know. Anyway, the iTunes guy refunded me due to the book eventually crashing every time I try to open it combined with the inability to download it (apple had to add it to my account for me from their end, twice) so now I’m pretty much stuck being told on the one hand by usag to learn their code and on the other hand usag provides only a single, flawed way to get it. - disappointed judge in training

I enjoyed the video intel. It was a great educational source for our kids to see what the skills should look like. However, because we paid for this package I feel we should be able to at least print off the Resources references for our records. Being able to have those code on hand can help coach train incoming coach that are new to the sport. I have new coaches and they all don't own an iPad or apple product. It would help to have.
  • The text is near unreadable

In a tight fisted effort to prevent sharing USAG made this book unreadable and unprintable. No copy for the gym since you cant print out. Cant read it on a regular 13 inch screen. My Mac air with a external monitor allows me to decipher the text Come on… U sag.
  • Too small to read

The font is small the resolution is low and this all makes for unpleasant reading on my MacBook Pro I have to squint and get close to the screen. There is no zoom out, and if you find a way the text resolution becomes pixilated, and the columns won’t reformat for change in page width. I can appreciate the hard work that went into this, however the text formatting makes reading very difficult. And I’m doing this in a 15 inch laptop.

The videos with explanations will be very helpful!
  • Great start but need to polish up some pages

I’m concerned for the Android people, I’m all apple so it works for me. The last pages are not clear when the printed/pdf pages are scanned in. I really hope they still send out a printable version to the COP. There is a lot of great thing in the book but also a lot of fluff that for judging you’ll have to search to find.
