Amazing is the only word to describe this story! Found it by chance and couldn’t put it down till the whole series was complete!!!!

Although the imagination Lawrence brings to the story isn’t lacking, a lot else is. I enjoy the writing style, and can appreciate the attempt; this trilogy hasn’t been all that engaging of a read. It felt, to me, that there was too much focus on meaningless topics or fights and not enough time invested in character development. The overall arc has felt cliché at best, but—and mostly out of obligation to myself—I plan to finish the trilogy. The series is a good choice for someone who needs to kill time, rather than a must-read. I would rather have gotten them from the library and not spent my own money on them.

A fantastic and thrilling book. Action-packed and charming. Can’t wait to read the final book!

I didn’t believe that this (Book 2) could match Book 1, but it may have actually surpassed Red Sister. This is an amazing story that is so well written that I marvel at how the blending of characters, plot lines, suspense, adventure and the unexpected all flow seamlessly into an epic piece of literature. Now it’s on to Book (3)- 👏🌟🤩👍 JB
