Great read, stays moving nicely paced

Okay I’m still reading because I like the stories. But the grammatical and general mistakes are driving me insane. “Quite wasting time.” That was a sentence I just read. QUITE wasting time. Honestly. I paid $6 I expect it to have at least been proofread.

Unlikable and underdeveloped characters! This is book 8 of the Riley Paige series. I have really tried to warm up to Riley throughout the previous 7 books without success. I’m not able to finish this book because I can’t stand her. In this book (and the previous 7) she repeatedly lets people down, hurts those who love her, and she has no friends. In every book she does things and makes choices that cause her to feel guilty, disregard her peers and boss, or are blatantly disrespect others. The writer’s intention may have been to showcase her internal struggles, but he doesn’t give her redeeming and warm qualities to add contrast. In my opinion, Riley comes across as selfish and self-centered and full of self-pity. The other characters in the book are two dimensional also except for the character who represents (I think) her dark side. This character is the most developed character in the whole book. @BlakePierce maybe develop a series based on Hatcher!
