This done in one book is full of interesting characters, a rich community, and explores the challenges of standing up for what you believe in, and doing the right thing, in the more dangerous corners of our modern world. I was gifted with a copy of this book and chose to share my review.

Another fast-paced short story from Quirilixen. It has taken two years for Sean to see Jules again and he doesn’t intend to lose her again. Jules is too stubborn for her own good. I love that the dragon shifters find an earth family to “adopt” them and help them acclimate. Enjoyable story. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Audiobook review- Short listen but memorable. Action, attraction, running, and mating make for an interesting and entertaining story! I really like the two main characters and the story development - kept me engrossed. The narrator did a great job with providing unique voices for each character and appropriate tone inflections for each scene. I received a free copy of this audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Hunted by the Dragon is the fourth book in the Captured by a Dragon series by Michelle M. Pillow. I am a huge fan of the Dragon series and I am enjoying the prequel to the world before Galaxy Brides were around. Seanan aka Sean is one of the first dragon shifter to go through the portal connected to Earth. The plan for the chosen ones was to go through the portal and bring back a bride. It has been a long time since the portal was used so they did not know what to expect from Earth. But when the portal opened, Sean was immediately drawn to the woman being attacked and his dragon shifting abilities was witnessed by off duty policemen that arrived due to the attack. Sean was injured which caused him to be left behind because the portal closed. The woman that he rescued seemed to be what he wants. Jules thought that the feelings she harbored for Sean was just because he saved her and was just confused so she did not hesitate to run away from him. This was so different compared to the Dragon Series. This was drama, thrills, crime, and a heroine that is sort of a vigilante. She is not your typical girl. I absolutely loved this book! It was refreshing to read a dragon shifter in Earth, trying to assimilate the culture. There was a lot of running away and getting caught. A lot of heroic acts and sacrifices. When Seanan traveled to Earth through a portal, it was supposed to be a quick trip. But the woman and the cop are safe and he is rescued by the family of the officer, who saw him transform to a dragon and realize he will need help fitting in. Since he missed his portal ride home and has no idea how to get back to his planet, he starts learning about his new home and fits into the family of the cop he saved. He starts a career as a bounty hunter, using his super sense of smell to help him track down bail jumpers. All is going well, until the woman that he saves, crashes back into his life by trying to carjack him. She is running from trouble and stubbornly avoids his help. Great adventure. Sizzling romance. When palace guard Seanan is tasked with making sure the portal to Earth works he is supposed to step right back on Qurilixen. When he steps through though he hears a woman’s scream and the portal closes with him on Earth. And his adventure begins. In this story of an alien stuck on earth, Sean is a fish out of water, yet retains all of his protective, honorable, alpha growly ways. Stubborn independent women seem to be the go to mates for our Qurilixen males, and Jules is no exception. She gives Sean more than a run for his money.
