The merman may have rescued her from death, but who’s going to rescue her from him?
Welcome to the underwater world of Atlantes!

Caderyn is the sexiest - and perhaps craziest - man Bridget has ever laid eyes on. He may have rescued her from death, but who’s going to rescue her from him? With all the right moves, the man is a walking seduction that’s too hard to resist.

Sparks fly. Desires heat. But there’s one small problem. He claims to be a merman shapeshifter and says they’re trapped in the lost city of Atlantes, living on a cursed island deep within the ocean.

My previous review has somehow escaped & is now lost in cyberspace So that being said, pulling this one out of my butt or brain as the case maybe. Not my favorite of her series, but that’s ok cause was still readable. It started off really well then lost me with the drop in the action & character angst (I have ADD & tend to get bored easily) So it ebbed & flowed which I guess to others is how stories are supposed to happen….with ebbing & flowing I tend to “himmm & haww” either to the slowing down of the story being too slow for me or too cheesy or again to slow. But Great news!! Was able to pick it right back up & have another action scene . & boy it was a doozy! Didn’t see that coming. Or maybe I should’ve but I’m not one to attempt to figure authors or their evil ways of plotting to blow the minds of their readers…. Too much work & id rather be reading or sleeping… Recommend! HAPPY READING!! I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I love this book by Michele M. Pillow. Caderyn is great throughout the book. I love how he protected bridget even after she hurt him. I love how he did not give up on her and their love. I love how her love for Catherine helped protect her from the Olympians and their shenanigans. I cannot put this book down. I stayed up way too late late reading it. I love how the merr protected women during shipwrecks. I love Michelle’s imagination and how she took myths in a different direction. I definitely recommend this book to others who like a happy ending. I love how scientific Bridget was but that she also understood her emotions.

There was so much to love about this book so it's probably best to break it down in Iris speech since what I look for in a book my not be everyone else's cup of tea. First and foremost, I love a strong heroine. The fact that The fact that Bridget, is grateful that Caderyn saved her but still insists on a level of autonomy and independence was huge for me. Granted her thought process went 0 to 60 in the blink of an eye and was often difficult to understand why she couldn't just ask Caderyn or Aidan when her mind had her going into panic mode is beyond me. But then I didn't almost drown and wake up in Atlantis surrounded by Merr folk. Secondly, I'm all for insta-love stories. I believe they have a time and place. But I loved the fact that this was steeped in a sort of realism in that aspect. Bridget didn't fall instantly in love with her savior. In lust... yes. In love... not so much. She made him work for it. There wasn't a thing I did not enjoy about The Mighty Hunter. That for me says a lot since I always find something to break up the monotony of fantasy perfection. I absolutely loved this book and can't wait to read the rest of the series.

Caderyn was a Merr and he and two others were out on a hunt for dangerous scylla. Bridget was a scientist on a ship with several other scientists studying and exploring the mysteries of the ocean when a monster attacked the ship and everyone fell overboard. Caderyn and Bridget had briefly caught each other’s eyes before the ship went down and when Caderyn saw her drowning he immediately went to her. When Caderyn and Bridget touched this began their awkward but exciting and interesting romance as they fought their attraction for each other facing danger, risking other mates, deceptions, and discovering changes. Fun read I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
