Wanted to like it, but the approach was boring and hard to get through...stopped about halfway through.

So raw, so real. Must read for all coaches of female athletes.

As a mother of a high school junior, who is a student athlete, I chose to read this story twice with my eyes wide open. It has deeply changed my approach in relating to what my daughter is trying to achieve.

Thank you for writing this important book. I highly recomment this book to young adults, parents, grandparents and teachers. It was especially interresting to learn about the affects of the technology and persona that is adopted as real by the users and readers alike. This book gave insight into the unknown personal battles that humans fight. Maddy looked for ways to escape her personal torture but her private agony remained just that: private. Her parents are brave. Five stars.

The topic while very sad is very narrow for a book this long. What starts out as interesting becomes unending as you slog through the book. Also the writer spent far too much time writing about herself. Really? I bought this book to learn about Maddy. If I wanted to learn about the author I would have gotten her biography. When the story finally ended I found myself very depressed. I would not recommend this book to anyone. Not do I believe any author can write a memoir about someone they never met.

This book was very poorly written. It's main focus was on the author and her life. Not Maddison's. Which is a dishonor to her. I wanted to read all about Madison, not the author, and her life. I could have read the internet and her social media and gleaned more about her beautiful life then what this author wrote. May her beautiful soul Rest In Peace. And may you not write about another persons death, this book should have been all about Maddie, not the author.
