Possibly my 2nd favorite book in the Lexi graves series behind command indecision. Solomon and Lexi are like Bonnie and Clyde. Lexi remains being independent even while juggling a relationship(or maybe even 2). An appearance by Maddox is always appreciated and keeps Lexi guessing but at the same time helps to solidify her feelings for Solomon. Sometimes the Safe choice is not always the best choice (sorry Maddox). If she can remain friends with sexy Maddox, her and Solomon may have the chance of waking down the aisle. I can't wait to see how the story progressives through all her crazy cases and relationships woes. One thing for sure is solomon still remains a mystery and I can't wait until Lexi (and us) finds out more.

This author never disapoints! This is my favorite book in this series. Great likable characters, strong females, believable drama with a nice sense of humor make this wonderful story. It help us to understand the Lexi we met in the 1st book and see how much she has evolve and grow since then. Great read! Can't wait for the next!
