A good read, well developed. I recommend!

Another book with a cop doesn’t obey rules yet get away with it. Nothing was unique, it was just another book.

Easy to follow tough to put down

Besides the lack of book editing and all the errors that were distracting, Avery Black is a fantasy cop. Too many risks, too many second chances given by her superiors.

The book itself was good. The story line, the characters and their backgrounds, everything was good to read. But the errors? The spelling, the sentence structures? Sometimes it was hard to follow. I won't be reading the rest of the series, based on the reviews of the following books. Also, I felt this book sometimes took a while to get into, I kind of dreaded reading it. Up until maybe the thirtieth chapter I was rethinking why I chose this book... Overall, it was okay, but it takes a while to get into. I would recommend reading the reviews before you decide to start, so you can prepare yourself.
