Light hearted, but still full of the swirls and and twists you expect from Bujold.

This is the second novella about Penric and his demon, Desdemona, set in Bujold's Chalion universe. Penric is called on to help track down a rogue Wolf kin shaman. Shamans and their powers were introduced in "The Hallowed Hunt". The story is a fast and fun read with Bujold's great turn at humor, storytelling and characterization. I hope she has many more adventures to tell about Penric and his demon.
