It was ok. If people just communicated half their problems would go away. Nothing more annoying when 30 something year olds act like immature teenagers. Don’t assume, TALK. I skipped a lot of the book. Glad it’s done.

My My, this one one of the best stories I have read this year. I could not put the book down, pages kept turning. The 2 main characters were so good. Kinda different with the journal.but getting to the last quarter of the book, it seemed to all come together. Everything made sense as to why things were said or done. Thank You so much

I just loved this book. I could hardly put it down. I couldn’t wait to see if Kate and Rourke would finally get to be together after all of those years of being separated and longing for each other. I loved the happy ending!

Kate is a liar and Rourke is gullible. He believes everything Kate says and Janice too. Only reason I finished it BC I don’t like to start and not finish. Check it out to develop your own opinion but it wasn’t worth the money I paid and I paid 0. GOD bless the author
  • Well-written but dated

This. Oil is well-written but seems like it was written much longer ago than a few years. All of the topical cultural references and even the perspectives of the characters make it seem like it is taking place in 1980, not sometime in the 2015 ish range. This is especially true of the characters perspectives— they just don’t think, talk and act the way people of today do— and it pretty much makes the story unbelievable and less captivating.
