Enjoyed this book had romance action some funny moments recommend to read this story

Kyele with the beautiful green eyes. Rate 4.5. For such a formidable warrior, I expected more action. I took off for parts of the book that seemed more filler, made it longer than necessary to me. I found myself wandering. I love the world of the Jutak warrior. Strong men and women in this family Michelle Howard has created. I look forward to the next installment. This book starts out with the story of Kyele's parents, Azar and Victoria. I was confused about the direction this part of the story it took. I guess Michelle had to figure a way to get Kyele on Enotia, but it was a sad turn of events. It left no hole to explain what really happened, leaving his father, Azar, to suffer as well as Kyele. Azar made mistakes. Mistakes he attempted to correct with Victoria, yet she ran. I wondered if she ran because of influence from Faan or was it her own decision. Victoria seemed to love Azar and knew he loved his son. It just seemed out of place. I felt Faan allowed his selfish love for Victoria to convince her to leave. In turn, she used Faan's love to manipulate him. However, she wanted to turn back immediately. Her intuition told her to, but she ignored it. Joni and Kyele were a great couple. He tried to stay away, without really staying away. We learned he would sneak in at night to hold her. A soft, hot warrior. Yum. Joni's determination to train and protect Sylvie and the others was inspiring. She was a tough one. Always fought back. Loved her strength. Kyele wanted someone to love. She was the perfect match for him. He was so powerful. Scary. The babies finally came. Yay! Viktor will be a force. So powerful at 3 to transport to another world, with accuracy. Surprised me. Look out mom. I liked that Azar was back in the end. Kyele really didn't know anything about his people. Azar was able to save Joni and Viktor. Perfect. Viktor teleporting to Azar on Spectar was fantastic. Look out world. I think he will be the one to bring Azar and Kyele back together. Perhaps Kyele will grow to understand that Azar loved Victoria. Fun times ahead for his family. Maybe a Christmas would be fun. Looking forward to more on Nikol and Arlo.
