I understand the green concept but the storyline was a bit out there. I don’t think professional women would fall that easily and men shouldn’t hide the whole truth to try and get their way.

I was extremely happy when I finished the book. It put me to sleep several times. It did not hold my attention. I gave it 2 1/2 stars. The book was totally unrealistic!

but it was just too hokey a premise. Sorry. I never felt ant affinity for the characters and was just not interested in modern people dressing up as Jane Austin characters or Navy Seals creating sustainable hovels. Too much.

The women are cringe worthy. No one in their right mind would dump all their possessions and move to a place that wasn't even confirmed to be available. The regency stuff was absurd. The main heroine Riley was a selfish disaster. She kept focusing only on herself and how her uncle didn't leave her his estate, she couldn't afford it but she was mad at him for not giving it to her. Boone is trying to create a sustainable lifestyle so that he can help the environment and the world. She's so focused on beauty and insists it's not a luxury...when it comes down to it, it is a luxury. This story was unrealistic and I can't seem to force myself to even skim through it. The female characters are all unlikeable and Riley is the worst of all of them. She's self-centered, immature, with an unpleasant demeanor.

What a cute and interesting concept with the men and women at the base camp. I love the Jane Austen theme for the women and the Seals trying to find women to marry them so they can own the ranch! Can’t wait for the next installment!!

I thought this was awful. Didn’t finish. Couldn’t even skim through the book to the end.

The women in this book are literally the most unreasonable and eccentric heroines I’ve ever read about...did not like it at all
